NSD are delighted to have attended the presentation of the Inaugural NVQ for metal decking and studwelding, after months of tireless endeavour by the members of the UKMDA.
As founding members of the UKMDA and NVQ committee activists, it is with a profound sense of pride that this new certificate is now available, after it was shelved by the ECITB.
We are now able to demonstrate that metal deck installers and stud welding operatives have achieved an industry accepted standard and committed our staff to receive the best training available in our industry.
With an emphasis on high standards of quality and safety, this NVQ is now the benchmark in our industry to acknowledge training and competency.
Our congratulations is extended to our first NVQ recipients (as pictured below) and also to all involved at the UKMDA for having the foresight and determination to complete this journey.
