We have an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic forward thinking distribution and installation company specialising in steel floor decking systems and concrete throughout the United Kingdom. Operating out of modern offices in Dinnington, Sheffield, the company has experienced sustained growth and are looking to enhance the Sales and Estimating team with the addition of a new Trainee Estimator.
The successful candidate will have the main duties as follows:
- Processing and interpreting enquiries from our clients
- Carrying out material take-off’s based on the drawings and bills of quantities that are contained within the enquiry.
- Inputting the data into our costing template to allow tender quotations to be issued.
- Liaising with our Sales Director and Estimating Team
Whilst the role will suit someone with experience of working in the construction industry, with an understanding of steel structures or concrete floors – this is not essential, as full training will be provided. Good numeracy skills and knowledge of Excel is essential, attention to detail, accuracy, and a willingness to actively liaise with other staff members and clients when necessary.
Annual Salary: £15,000 – £18,000 (dependent upon experience)
